Sofie has been with AXIS since she was 16 years old when she began working as a Pharmacy Assistant in the pharmacy’s long-term care and retail operations. She packages products, helps on the phone, works the register, and assists with mailing compounded products. Basically, she has worked on every function that an Assistant can do in our pharmacy. Many of our customers have had the good fortune of interacting with Sofie.
She has recently completed the requirements to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician. We have high hopes for her future here with the AXIS team. We really appreciate and admire the way she can focus so well on the task that she is working on. She solves complicated packaging challenges and is incredibly accurate! There are new challenges for her in the future, and she will, as always, be up for them.
Everything Sofie does is done cheerfully; she is a tremendous asset to the company. We look forward to helping her continue to grow here with the AXIS Family!

The people at AXIS have grown on me, and we’ve become close.

You have to be dedicated and work quickly.
Tell us about some things you like to do outside of work.
Church is a big part of my life. I enjoy our activities, such as singing in the choir and servicing others. I also enjoy snowboarding, snowmobiling, wakeboarding, and camping.

It’s Worth It.
What’s the very first job you had (that’s not on your resume), and what did you learn from the experience? Working as a Pharmacy Assistant at AXIS Pharmacy is my first job! I’ve learned a lot, such as how to treat customers and work in a team.
How would you describe yourself in one word? Why?
I am motivated because I like to learn and finish what I’m working on.
What is your favorite local restaurant?
It’s difficult to pick one favorite, but I love South Lake Pizza in Lake Stevens.
