Nataliia Glotov is a pharmacy technician who has been with AXIS for three years. When asked why she was selected to be the recipient this quarter, Rich Molitor, Pharmacist in Charge, and Dave Doane, AXIS Pharmacy CEO, had these kind words to share:
“Since arriving at AXIS Pharmacy Northwest as a pharmacy assistant, Nataliia has advanced herself with additional training into a pharmacy technician position and is now a key member of our TCG-RX robotics team. This robot packages patient medications into individual time-of-day packets and is very popular with caregivers seeking a better way to administer medications. This makes her reliability and accuracy even more special. Well-liked and respected by the entire team, Nataliia possesses a delightful low-key sense of humor and a very mellow demeanor. Her reliability makes her a pleasure to have as a co-worker.”
We asked Nataliia about her role at AXIS and how she spends her time outside of work.
In one or two sentences, provide a brief description of “A Day In the Life” at your job.
As a Pharmacy Technician, I take care of processing and packaging prescriptions and answering our very busy phone lines.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
I love being able to help our customers in ensuring that they not only get their medications but that they are filled accurately and in a timely manner.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
I would say that one of the most challenging parts of this job is dealing with and navigating all the various insurance plans.
What is your favorite part about working at AXIS Pharmacy Northwest?
The best part of working at AXIS is the people that I get to work with on a daily basis. We have a fabulous team here!
What advice would you give to someone looking to get into your line of work?
Be patient. You won’t understand absolutely everything in the beginning.
Tell us about some things you like to do outside of work.
I love to hike, spend time with friends, travel and shop for new clothes.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Although I tend to be a very quiet person, I’m very funny and quick-witted. I will bust out with a joke from out of nowhere.
